Things I have learned today

Its been an interesting day. Here's what I've learned:

1. The baby's diaper really should be changed before driving carpool with the heat on full blast.
2. Plastic forks do not fair well in the blender.
3. When you do laundry for an 8 year old boy, you should wear rubber gloves.
4. Its hard to go out of town during the middle of school year and when you have a theater production in the works.
5. When you lose your Tivo remote, you can't even watch regular TV. This includes Sesame Street, the show that makes it possible to clean ones house.
6. Little girls with money that is going to be spent at Toys R Us are not patient.
7. Little boys should not be given the sheet music to Star Wars as "extra" stuff to play and then be expected to practice anything else.

I have to admit I'm surprised it took you eight years to learn that you should wear rubber gloves when doing laundry for a boy. Kai's only 6 and I learned that lesson a long time ago.
